How it works

Ingestion

Once our skill is installed, The Silly home collects usage data from different IoT sensors and devices installed in your home. The data is stored securely and anonymously.

Training

Deep neural networks are trained using the normalized data. The models learns insights derived from the data through pattern identification.

Preparation

Once our skill is installed, The Silly Home collects usage data of different IoT sensors and devices installed in your home. The data is stored securely and anonymously.

Inference

The models delivered to your home hub decides the next best action based on your sensors' states. Our solution is adaptable as your manual actions will help retrain and improve the AI in a feedback loop.

Frequently asked Questions

Local vs Cloud addon?

There is a local version and a cloud version of our addon. Our local version was a created as a prototype that builds tree models locally. Our latest alpha version operates in the cloud. The key reasoning is to train larger and more accurate neural network models in order to better service our users. In practice, all usability features will be deployed onto the Cloud version first then ported over to the local version in a batch format (say once per quarter). This is because our team of 1 cannot handle the continuous deployment process in a higher cadence. Model features will not be ported over and will stay within the cloud version.

What is the price?
